No matter the time of year or the conditions, Northwind has the equipment, manpower, and knowledge to build and maintain northern roads.

We are currently constructing the Inuvik to Tuktoyaktuk Highway, which will connect Canada from coast to coast to coast. This four-year, $300 million project will complete the final leg of the Dempster Highway.

Northwind is also the premier ice road builder in the Beaufort-Delta, utilizing state-of-the-art ground penetrating radar for ice profiling.

Our team of heavy equipment operators have the experience to safely demolish and dispose of buildings and dangerous goods.

We recently demolished Sir Alexander Mackenzie School in Inuvik, landfilling inert material and transporting asbestos and lead paint south for disposal.
